HOW DOES MICRO NEEDLING TREATMENT WORK?
Using a micro-needling device we stimulate your body’s natural healing process and boost collagen production. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN YOUR FIRST CONSULTATION?
We will ask you to attend a complementary consultation in Vista Clinic, where your medical professional will carry out a full skin analysis, and go through your skincare concerns, medical history and skincare routine.
During this consultation, we will explain more about how micro-needling treatment works and discuss what you can expect during and after the treatment.
At this initial stage, we’ll also take photos of the area to be treated for your medical records and to help us chart your treatment progress.

WHAT HAPPENS AT YOUR SKIN NEEDLING APPOINTMENT?
When you arrive at Vista Clinic for your micro needling treatment.
Our first step will be to cleanse your skin and apply an anesthetic cream for approximately 30 minutes. This will help to numb your skin and make sure that the micro-needling treatment is a comfortable experience for you. Once the anesthetic cream has done its job, we will disinfect your skin and begin the skin needling treatment.
<p “>Skin needling is carried out using a hand-held device with a single-use head featuring a number of micro-needles. We will go over the area to be treated using small circular movements, then move the micro-needling device diagonally, horizontally and vertically across your skin to ensure the treatment area is covered evenly. <p “>Once the procedure is complete, we will gently cleanse your skin once more and apply cold compresses to close your pores.
HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT TAKE?
The length of your skin needling treatment will depend on the area to be treated but we should be able to give you a clear idea of how long it will take before you attend your appointment, so that you can plan the rest of your day.
HOW QUICKLY SHOULD YOU SEE RESULTS?
Your skin may look pink immediately after the treatment but, by the following day, you should be able to cover any light redness with mineral make-up. Mineral make-up is available through Vista Clinic and is ideal for use after any aesthetic treatment as it provides full coverage, while allowing your skin to breathe and heal.
The full results of your treatment should be visible within seven to fourteen days, although improvements will continue as your skin produces more collagen. Most people notice that scarring has noticeably improved and that their skin looks and feels smoother, healthier, plumper and more youthful.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
We recommend a programme of three to six treatments four to six weeks apart; however, this will depend on your skin condition. Your medical professional will devise the right treatment plan, which may include other treatments, to achieve the best results.
